Capped this video today. Please pardon my shitty VCR that has trouble playing VHS tapes.
I'm just curious to see the old Euclid Square Toys R Us store. The whole empty buildings/urban decay thing is like crack to me. Word is they've got the building rented for 1 month. The sale runs January 4, 5 and 6, 2008. It may be open other days (I would assume if they have it for a month).
I don't particularly consider this the big, developmental step forward that was mentioned almost 2 years ago in this blog, though.
So... Anybody gonna go?

just came back from that sale, it was absolutly horrible 6.00 admission should have been the hint that there is nothing but junk in there, everyone leaves empty handed one guy left with a large bong and marijuana pipes , other than that it was a completely wasted journey for me
ReplyDeleteUgh. Guy said they'd probably be charging admission and he really ran down how these "sales" usually work.
ReplyDeleteMe? I'm naive enough to think HAY THIS COULD BE A GOOD THING. But hey... what's one more black mark on the mall area?
Thanks for letting me know, anon.
about this toys r us sale they are having you said there there is going to NOTHING really there and everyone is empty handed is there any video game systems at all preferably ps3's or is the commercial just bull
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up. I'd hate to make my way out there for nothing!
ReplyDeleteMy wife and brother loaded up the car and headed up to the sale at the Old Toys R Us. We got in line and noticed they were charging admission 6.00 as mentioned before. Although we were kinda looking forward finding some deals. by the looks of what was being offered through the window we werent missing anything. And like mentioned before everyone was leavng empty handed. It was to Ghettoriffic for us and we turned around before paying the admission. It just looked like the garbage that was sold in USA outlets in the convenince of one box store....
ReplyDeleteyea i went in, it was exactly like the liquidation sale at the i x center which i went to on friday, garbage! the only good deal i saw was on one sub which was $200 online which was only $80 there, othere than that everything was crap, it was a really dirty place too
