Frightening Friday: 1954 Euclid Halloween Advertisements

Happy first Friday of the best month, October! Frightening Friday is back, and today, we're looking at a couple of Halloween 1954 ad's from Euclid, Ohio.

Kresge's at Euclid-Richmond Shopping center had it all! Costumes for kids and adults, candy, party supplies, even trick or treat bags.

Butler Brothers at 22300 Lakeshore Blvd thought you ought to come in and pick up some candy beans (?) and candy kisses (??). Think those are Boston baked beans and those terrible peanut butter kisses?

1954 Euclid Fisher's Fall Festival! Fresh candy corn still tastes like candy corn. Smarties are ok, though.
