History Lesson: Euclid Aldi Part IV: Revco/CVS

History Lesson: Euclid Aldi Part I: Butler Bros Burr's Department Store
History Lesson: Euclid Aldi Part II: Shott's Dept. Store
History Lesson: Euclid Aldi Part III: Bing's Furniture Store

Revco drug stayed at 22300 Lakeshore for nearly 30 years, which was an impressive stretch.

Some old Revco logos, cause I know what you likeeee.
This location was rebranded as CVS after the company was purchased by CVS Pharmacy.

This location only close to move across the street, to 22001 Lakeshore Blvd.

  1. They previously had a store at the other end of the plaza (the Lake Shore Blvd entrance) which originally had been Standard Drug. Revco bought Standard and converted all of the stores to their discount format--this involved getting rid of the soda fountains and the non-drug merchandise like toys and magazines.
