25200 Euclid Ave. La Tour, Fred Stecker Oldsmobile

May 1961 LaTour Oldsmobile

Dealership in 1965.
LaTour Oldsmobile lived here from 1961 until it became Fred Stecker Oldsmobile (a name that actually rings a bell with me!) in September 1975.

They filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy 15 years later in September 1990.

In 1995, Metro Chemical Environmental Products purchased the property, and they held on to it until 2004.

I think a mid-century Oldsmobile dealership would have been cool AF to work in.
The current owner has had the property since 2004.

Today it's Newbirth Auto Sales. Hannah's Child Development center was there briefly, too (circa 2009).

I should go take some pictures of this place, as I love the architecture of the building, and it's been retained for all these decades. There's the new facade that goes all around the building and the front lot has gone from grass to concrete, but few other changes have appeared on the outside.

It was built in 1961.
Bonus! Fred Stecker Oldsmobile license plate frame!
