ReplyDeleteThere may have been a Helen Hutchley's ice cream store on the east side of 222nd St. (next to a paint store, probably Sherwin-Williams) near Arms Ave. It closed sometime in the late 1960's. If it wasn't Helen Hutchley's, it was a small shop that served ice cream. I vaguely remember other items being sold there such as greeting cards and knick-knacks. Someone else on this blog may remember it better.
